The Engineering Product Support Directorate (EPSD) is focused on minimizing the total cost of ownership through engineering upfront planning and decision analysis related to Reliability, Maintainability, Supportability, Safety and Environmental impacts to our customers. It also includes the operational aspects of mission support such as field and technical support, repairs and spares management and Program Management support. We strived to incorporate life cycle solutions earlier in the design process to ensure a robust, sustainable and affordable solution for our customers.
Perform a variety of tasks in support of engineering and engineering processes. Tasks include and are not limited to the following: Performing research and maintaining database records. Tracking disposition of depot repair assets and government owned property and ensure correct closure process followed. Maintain and populate review templates and ensure proper support at Peer Reviews. Keep team informed of current events and program requirements. Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures. Tracking and archiving Engineering Notebooks as needed. Monitor monthly supplier funding profiles for actuals and future planning to identify overruns and/or need for additional funding. Performs other related tasks to support the IPT teams, the Business teams, the Program Management Office and the Customer as needed for product development and support. Work is closely supervised. Follows specific, detailed instructions. Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, and other personnel in the action or group.
Proficient use of MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
Ability to multitask.
Experience with MS Project and PDM.
Self-starter with above average communication skills.
Required Education (including Major):
Senior level student working toward a Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline from a ABET accredited curriculum with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
