Finance Associate
Robinson+Cole, a Vault "Top Ranked" Am Law 200 firm, seeks a corporate finance associate to join its Business Transactions Practice Group in its Hartford, Stamford, Boston, or New York offices.
Robinson+Cole’s Finance Group represents clients nationwide with a variety of highly-sophisticated financing transactions. We work with banks, private credit funds (including Small Business Investment Companies), venture funds and other lenders on first lien, second lien, and unsecured financing transactions, as well as with private equity funds and other financial sponsors and their portfolio companies and other borrowers on complex commercial, asset-based, and acquisition financings.
Qualified candidates will have three to six years of corporate finance experience, including representing borrowers and lenders in structuring, negotiating, and documenting complex debt financing transactions. Experience with acquisition finance and venture lending is preferred but not required. Candidates should work well as part of a team and enjoy a fast-paced work environment.
Please note that all R+C attorneys must be admitted in the state of their primary office location. Top academic and transactional credentials, excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills are also required.
New York and Massachusetts Applicants: The target base salary range for this position is $195,000 to $217,500. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's class year, years of experience, skills, qualifications, and office location.
R+C supports the flexibility provided by a hybrid work model. Our attorneys are asked to work in the office a minimum of 2-3 days per week to benefit from in-person connection and collaboration.
