Business Transactions Associate
Robinson+Cole, a Vault “Top Ranked” Am Law 200 Firm, seeks an associate to join its Business Transactions Practice Group in its New York, Stamford, Hartford, Providence or Boston offices.
Robinson+Cole’s Business Transactions Practice Group partners with clients across industries to handle a diverse array of corporate, financial, and strategic matters. Our attorneys advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings (debt and equity), joint ventures, corporate governance, and complex commercial agreements.
Qualified candidates will have three to six years of experience drafting and negotiating transaction documents relating to mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions, and general corporate matters. Experience with acquisition financing would be helpful, but is not required. Candidates should work well as part of a team and enjoy a fast-paced work environment.
Please note that all R+C attorneys must be admitted in the state of their primary office location. Top academic and transactional credentials, excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills are also required.
New York and Massachusetts Applicants: The target base salary range for this position is $195,000 to $217,500. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's prior experience, class year, skills, qualifications, and office location.
R+C supports the flexibility provided by a hybrid work model. Our attorneys are asked to work in the office a minimum of 2-3 days per week to benefit from in-person connection and collaboration.
